Note :- you all heard about that swap degrade the life span of a SD Card & my own 8 GB memory card was bricked  few months ago .... but in reality swap never brick your Memory Card until you try to increase RAM on Non-Swap Supported kernel.

But yes Swap will degrade your life of SD Card but you should set swapiness value to around 60 & I have 8 GB Transcend Memory Card class 4 & i have 300 mb swap with 60 Swapiness using Ram Expander Pro :)


So after flashing the New Jelly Droid Rom which has swap support mean you can increase your RAM even on class 4 Memory Card :)

How To Install JellyBread ROM ? .:

1. Download JellyBread Rom (Click Here to Download)  & copy to your SD Card

2. You must have New Clockworkmod Recovery (See This - Click Here)

3.In ClockWorkMod recovery > select install zip form sd card > select "JELLYDROID_BY_MARK.zip"

4. Install  &  Reboot :)

My Current Settings in Jelly Droid ROM .:

• As mentioned above i have a class 4 , 8 GB Memory Card & i'm running on new JellyDroid Rom by Mark :)
• I'm using Link2SD & i have 400 MB .Ext 2 partion which integrated in Internal memory
• I have 300 MB Swap with 60 Swapiness in ROEHSOFT RAM Expander
• i too have Chainfire 3D installed & the most awesome thing s that i will never need to use "Reduce Texture Size" because maximum heavy games like Temple RUN Oz, Temple RUN 2 , Subway Surfers, NOVA, Modern Combat: Sandstorm,Dead Space, Dungeon Hunter .... working so smoothly with awesome graphic experience.
• I am using Adw Launcher with Minimul UI Theme (by default there are iPhone's icons)
• I'm using Smart Keyboard Pro instead of Touchpal keyboard (it contains some Chinese words)

Some Recommendation  to All Users (Must read) .:

If you want maximum, smoothest, Lag free performence in your device then you should follow my some instructions given below.

1. Never use Int2EXT2 .... Use Link2SD 

• Yes, never use int2ext2 in your device. instead of int2ext2 you should use Link2SD. (In JellyDroid Rom there is a app name ".Ext manager .. just open it & choose Link2SD & remember your SD card should be partioned in FAT 32 & ext2). when you tap on Link2SD it will automatically adjust everything & reboot & it's done. .. then open Link2SD  > Settings > tap on "Auto Link" & in Auto Link setting tap on all 3 options.

2. Some Instructions about Swap  

• To  increase RAM open a app name "Ram Expander" in size box put the value "300" & swappiness 60 & then tap on "Swap Active" & it will create a swap file in your SD card. it will take  3 -4 minutes so just wait & then it will automatically increase RAM. & there is a notification panel in status bar showing you status of RAM.
• After increasing RAM never remove your SD card .. if you want to copy/paste something from your Memory Card to PC or vice versa then never use data cable instead of using data cable you can use wireless file transfer apps like "AirDroid" or "Software Data Cable"
• If you want to use Data Cable then first disable swap (in Ram Expander App > tap on "swap Active" to disable swap.

3. Gaming Related Instructions

•  After using Swap , Gaming Experience on my phone is on a new stage :) to play heavy games we have to use ChainFire 3D app.
• Open ChainFire 3D > go to Install Plugins > it will search for plugins > Then Install all 3 Plugins.
• One more thing that always use "Default  OpenGL Settings"
• Use "QUALCOMM" as plugin :)
• Some other recommended apps for better gaming experience are "Seeder" & "Game Booster"

 Finally, Jellydroid Rom is beautiful, with new Messaging App , New Background of System, New boot Animation & Much More...
